Trump Redux:

In case you missed it the other day, here are some tweets from Donald Trump on Election night, 2012.
Some of these tweets were deleted, but were preserved by New York Magainze.

“This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy!

Lets fight like hell and stop this great and disgusting injustice! The world is laughing at us.

“More reports of voting machines switching Romney votes to Obama,”

At 11:29 PM: “We can’t let this happen, We should march on Washington and stop this travesty. Our nation is totally divided!”

“the loser one!…Obama ”“lost the popular vote by a lot and won the election.”

“We should have a revolution in this country!”

“Lets fight like hell and stop this great and disgusting injustice! The world is laughing at us.”

“More votes equals a loss…revolution!”

“Our nation is a once great nation divided!”

Revolution.

This was Trump’s version of the Munich Beer Hall Putsch. Like Hitler, he didn’t give up. Went the electoral route, and won by the Electoral College he’d denounced in 2012, when Romney was temporarily ahead in the popular vote–as in 2020, with California yet to be counted.

Why was January 6 a surprise? Every bit as opposed to democracy as Hitler was, and his hatred of Obama the revelation of a deep-down racist–if anyone is still wondering. Yes, he has black supporters and loves to parade them on the stage. As Himmler said at the Wansee Conference that adopted the Final Solution, “Who among us does not have his favorite Jew?”
