What to say about this? It would make a very sweet Movie Moment, a version of the Standing O movie, which is one of my favorite genres. Think Karen Black walking out of the cockpit as the passengers stand up, in Airport.

And yet, “bittersweet” is hardly the word. At the moment, it seems more like fond farewells on the deck of the Titanic.
